In 1994, a strike in Major League Baseball resulted in the season having no World Series –an event some suggest contributed to the rapid decline of values in the baseball card market. For this series I bought the complete Topps card set from 1994 and burned all of the “Draft Pick” cards to breathe some new life into them. While not pictured here, each burned card is preserved in a hard plastic screw-down case.
